My God, You know my weakness. I can do nothing without the help of Your grace. Do not deny it to me, O my God, but give me enough strength to avoid all the evil that You defend, to practice all the good that You expect from me, and to suffer patiently all the sorrows that It will please You to send me.

Satisfy in me Your hunger and Your thirst for goodness… And I, O Jesus, will benefit from Your gifts with a joy all the greater as I know better how You Yourself feel in loving me in this way and in offering me the gifts of Your exquisite and paternal goodness.

The Apostles’ Creed – I believe in God

The Apostles’ Creed summarizes the dogmas of the Catholic faith. According to Tradition, each of the first 12 Apostles composed a verse. 1 . I believe in God, the Father Almighty; Creator of heaven and earth; 2 . And in Jesus Christ, His only Son, our Lord; 3 . Who was conceived by the Holy Ghost, born of the Virgin Mary, 4 . Act of Consecration to the Divine Will

My sweet Jesus, I enter into Your divine Will, prostrate myself before the Supreme Majesty and repeat with You: “Here I am, Father, I have come to do Your Will.” Everything I have is Yours, Lord, as is this Will You have so generously given me. I offer it to You so that, in return, I may receive Yours. I surrender myself to You, O Father, and to all that You want for me. I will repeat with my Blessed Mother: “May it be done to Me according to Your Will.” I place my weakness in Your strength, my nothingness in You who are all and my ignorance in Your Wisdom. Come and reign in me and make me an instrument for Your glory. I place my life and all my actions in the Light of Your divine Will. With all the Heavenly Court, I beseech Thee: Come down, O divine Will, and reign in my soul and in the souls of all those I love. Come and reign on earth as in heaven. Amen.

ACT OF CONTRITION

Act of Love

I love You, O my infinitely lovable God, and I would rather die loving You than live a single instant without loving You. I love You, O my God, and I desire heaven only to have the happiness of loving You perfectly. I love You, O my God, and I fear hell only because there will not be the sweet consolation of loving You. O my God, if my tongue cannot say at every moment that I love You, at least I want my heart to repeat it to You as many times as I breathe. Oh, give me the grace to suffer while loving You, to love You while suffering, and to die one day while loving You and feeling that I love You. And the closer I come to my end, the more I beseech You to increase my love and to perfect it. Amen!

Surrender to the Will of God
