Prayers to Jesus Host
To the Most Blessed Virgin Mary,
after Communion
O
Mary,
Virgin
Guardian
who
so
perfectly
kept
Jesus
in
You,
deign to keep Him in me so that I in turn may give Him to souls.
O
Mary,
be
there
when
I
am
not
there.
Speak
to
Him
when
I
am
not
speaking
to
Him.
Listen
to
Him
when
I
am
distracted.
Surround
Him
when
I
am
distant.
Warm
Him
when
too
cold
is
my
poor
heart.
Repair
my
inadvertent
and
fleeting
forgetfulness.
Don’t
let
me
ever
part
from
Him.
At
the
hour
of
my
death,
call
me,
command
me
so
that
I
may
go
and
praise
You
eternally
in
heaven. Amen.
Prayer of Thanksgiving after Communion
It
is
therefore
true,
Redeemer
of
men,
that
You
dwell
in
me,
and
that
I
am
in
possession
of
Your
Body,
Blood,
Soul
and
Divinity.
I
adore
You,
O
my
God,
from
the
depths
of
my
soul,
and
I
unite
my
adoration
to
those
whom
the
Angels
and
Saints
render
to
You
in
heaven.
O
God
of
love!
Yes,
I
love
You
with
all
my
heart,
with
all
my
soul
and
with
all
my
strength.
I
thank
You
for
the
great
favour
You
have
granted
me
to
give
You
to
me.
I
give
myself
to
You
without
reservation.
Accept,
divine
Jesus,
this
offering
that
I
make
to
You
of
all
that
I
am
and
of
all
that
I
possess;
dispose
of
me
according
to
Your good pleasure, and grant me the grace to never displease You.
Prayer of Humility
taught by Jesus to Sister Benigna Consolata, a Visitandine nun
My
God,
my
sovereign
Love,
my
All,
I,
nothing
of
nothing,
nothing
good,
nothing
in
virtue,
nothing
in
faithfulness,
nothing
in
correspondence
to
Your
graces,
behold,
from
the
deep
abyss
of
my
misery,
I
conjure
You,
by
the
abyss
of
Your
mercy,
to
grant
me
the
grace
to
know
You
and
to
make
You
known,
to
love
You
and
to
make
You
loved,
to
serve
You
and
to
make
You
served,
as
perfectly
as
it
is
possible
for
a
poor
creature,
and
for
Your
greater glory.
•
“I,
says
Jesus,
assure
you
that
every
time
a
soul
pronounces
this
act
with
a
true
feeling
of
profound
humility,
it
wounds
my
Heart
with
an
arrow
of
gold
and,
from
this
wound,
a
torrent
of
graces
overflows
for
the
soul
that
is
the
author,
and
for
the
Holy
Church.
This
is
still
the
best
preparation
for
Holy
Communion,
because
God
communicates
Himself
to
the
humble
with
greater
abundance.”
Offering to Jesus in the Host
O
Jesus,
O
Master
of
my
heart,
I
ask
You
earnestly
for
the
grace
to
honor
Your
state
as
Host,
by
an
ardent
and
generous
love,
even
to
the
point
of
suffering
and
dying,
if
necessary,
for
Your
glory.
I
offer
You
my
soul,
let
it
share
in
the
anguish
with
which
Yours
was filled during the Passion.
I offer You my body, accept it as a victim devoted to Your glory.
I
offer
You
my
heart;
may
it
be
united
to
Yours,
Lord,
and
be
forever a sanctuary of love. Amen.
Act of Reparation for the Outrages committed
against the Blessed Sacrament
O
thrice-holy
God,
I
adore
Thee,
I
love
Thee,
I
bless
Thee
through
the
Sacred
Heart
of
Jesus
in
the
Most
Blessed
Sacrament
of
the
Altar,
and
I
offer
Thee,
through
the
blessed
hands
of
the
Immaculate
Virgin
Mary,
all
the
Holy
Hosts
which
are
on
our
altars
and
in
all
our
Tabernacles,
as
a
sacrifice
of
expiation,
reparation,
and
honorable
amends
for
all
the
sacrileges,
profanations,
impiety,
blasphemies,
and
crimes which outrage Thee in all the universe. Amen.
To ask for the graces of the Blessed Sacrament
O
Jesus,
come
forth
from
Your
Tabernacle
to
pour
out
the
mercies
of
Your
Heart
upon
us.
Pour
out
Your
divine
blessing
upon
me;
may
it
be
a
pledge
of
the
forgiveness
of
my
sins,
and
a
safeguard
against
the
occasions
of
offending
You.
Purify
my
soul
and
strengthen
it
in
the
ways
of
goodness.
Grant
me
Your
love
and the means to live and die holy.
O
Jesus,
bless
my
family;
I
commend
it
to
Your
Sacred
Heart,
and
ask
You
to
fill
us
with
Your
divine
Spirit.
Give
us
all
a
blessing
that extends from our life to our death, O Jesus Host! Amen.
We adore Thee, O Jesus!
by Saint Francis of Assisi
We
adore
Thee,
O
Jesus,
present
here
in
the
Blessed
Sacrament
and
in
all
the
tabernacles
of
the
whole
world,
and
we
bless
Thee
because
Thou
hast
redeemed
the
world
by Thy holy Cross.
