For the Preservation of the Deposit of the Faith

For the Kingdom of God to come!

MAGNIFICAT

The particular goal of the Order of the Magnificat of the Mother of God is the preservation of the Deposit of the Faith by religious teaching in all its forms. God has established it as “a rampart against the almost general apostasy” that has invaded Christianity and in particular the Roman Church.

Beautiful Consecration to the Sacred Heart of Jesus

Sacred Heart of Jesus
A beautiful formula to entrust ourselves into the hands of God our Father and consecrate our whole being to Him.
My most gracious Jesus, I consecrate myself today, once again and without reserve, to Your divine Heart. I consecrate to You my body with all its senses, my soul with all its faculties, and my whole being. I consecrate to You all my thoughts, words and works, all my sufferings and sorrows, all my hopes, consolations and joys, and above all I consecrate to You my poor heart, so that it may love only You and be consumed as a victim in the flames of Your love. Accept, oh Jesus, my most gracious Spouse, the desire I have to console Your divine Heart and to belong to You forever. Take possession of me in such a way that henceforth, I have no other freedom than that of loving You, nor any other life but that of suffering and dying for You. I place in You all my trust, a trust without limits, and I hope from Your infinite mercy the forgiveness of my sins. I place in Your hands all my worries, especially that of my eternal salvation. I promise to love and honor You until the last moment of my life, and to propagate, as far as I am able, the devotion to Your Sacred Heart. Dispose of me, O my Jesus, according to Your good pleasure; I want no other reward than Your greater glory and Your holy love. Grant me the grace of finding my dwelling place in Your divine Heart, it is there that I want to spend all the days of my life, that I want to draw my last breath. Establish also in my heart Your dwelling place and the abode of Your rest, so that we may thus remain intimately united, until one day I may praise You, love You and possess You for all eternity, and sing forever the infinite mercies of Your Sacred Heart. Amen.

My Jesus, forgiveness and mercy!
By the merits of Thy holy Wounds and the sorrows of Thy Mother.

Sign of the Cross

In the name of the Father, and of the Son, and of the Holy Ghost, and of the Mother of God. Amen.

Preparatory Prayer

O Jesus! We are going to walk with You on the road to Calvary which was so painful for You. Make us understand the greatness of Your sufferings, touch our hearts with tender compassion at the sight of Your torments, in order to increase in us the regret of our faults and the love we wish to have for You.
Deign to apply to all of us the infinite merits of Your Passion, and in memory of Your sorrows, show mercy to the souls in Purgatory, especially to those who are most abandoned.
O Divine Mary, who first taught us to make the Way of the Cross, obtain for us the grace to follow Jesus with the sentiments Your Heart was filled with as You accompanied Him on the road to Calvary. Grant that we may weep with You, and that we may love Your divine Son as You do. We ask this in the name of His adorable Heart. Amen.
