God is the Creator of all things.
He has all the rights over His creatures.

Here are the Ten Commandments
He gave to mankind:

1.  Thou shalt not have
strange gods before Me.

2.  Thou shalt not take the name
of the Lord, thy God, in vain.

 3. Remember that thou
keep holy the Sabbath day.

4. Honor thy father and thy mother,
that thou mayest have a long life.

5. Thou shalt not kill.

6. Thou shalt not commit adultery.

7. Thou shalt not steal.

8. Thou shalt not bear false witness
against thy neighbor.

9. Thou shalt not covet
thy neighbor’s wife.

10. Thou shalt not covet
thy neighbor’s goods

Jesus says: 

He who has My commandments and keeps them, he it is who loves Me… And I will love him and manifest Myself to him.

(St. John 14:21)

If you keep My commandments, you will abide in My love.

(St. John 15:10)

If you want to enter into Life, keep the commandments.

(St. Matthew 19:17)

The first Apostles say: 

And the law is not of faith: but, the man that doth those things, shall live in them.

(St. Paul to the Galatians 3:12)

He who saith, I know Him, and keepeth not His commandments, is a liar, and the truth is not in him.

(I St. John 2:4)

And whatsoever we ask, we receive of Him, because we keep His commandments, and do those things that are pleasing in His sight. 

(I St. John 3:22)

For this is the love of God, that we keep His commandments: and His commandments are not grievous. 

(I St. John 5:3)
