Novena to the Divine Mercy
begins on Good Friday
Day One
Jesus Himself asked Saint Faustina Kowalska
to write and recite this novena before the Feast of Mercy.
Words of Jesus:
“I desire that during these nine days you will bring souls to the fountain of My Mercy, so
that they may draw strength and relief, as well as all the graces they need in the difficulties
of life and especially at the hour of death. Every day you will bring to My Heart a new group
of souls and immerse them in the immensity of My Mercy. And I will lead them all to the
house of My Father. You will do this in this life and in the next. I will refuse nothing to any
soul you bring to the source of My Mercy. And every day you will implore My Father, in the
name of My Sorrowful Passion to grant you graces for these souls.”
