Chaplet of the Holy Wounds
Good practice for Friday or any other day.
The Sign of the Cross:
In the name of the Father, and of the Son, and of the Holy Ghost, and of the Mother of God. Amen.
In place of the Our Father:
V. Eternal Father I offer Thee the wounds of Our Lord Jesus Christ,
R. To heal the wounds of our souls.
In place of the Hail Mary’s, ten times:
V. My Jesus, pardon and mercy!
R. Through the merits of Thy Holy wounds and the sufferings of Thy Holy Mother.
After the fifth decade, three times:
V. Eternal Father I offer Thee the wounds of Our Lord Jesus Christ,
R. To heal the wounds of our souls.
Final Sign of the Cross:
In the name of the Father, and of the Son, and of the Holy Ghost, and of the Mother of God. Amen.
