Let us thank God
What thanksgiving shall I give You, O my God, for all the good things I have received from You? You have thought of me from all eternity, You have brought me out of nothing, You have given Your life to redeem me, and You still fill me every day with an infinity of favours. Alas! Lord, what can I do in gratitude for so much goodness? Join with me, blessed Spirits, in praising the God of mercies, who never ceases to do good to the most unworthy and ungrateful of His creatures.
My Jesus, pardon and mercy!
By the merits of Thy holy Wounds and the sorrows of Thy Mother.
